About Telly Nicole

Telly Nicole perhaps has a certain big-busted country music star to thank for her career as a TV news anchor. One of her first memories involves a home video – Mom, can you destroy that? - of her anchoring the news as Dolly Parton. Though it never won her an Emmy or Edward R. Murrow Award, it set her on the path to TV, with a little detour of embarassment. Today, her newscasts lack in the southern drawl and blonde hair, but the passion and love is still there. Being a Kansas girl at heart, the Midwest is where she calls home. During her time in the business, she's actively taken part in the entire process of creating the news from shooting video, to editing, interviewing, writing and presenting. Her newscasts have been recognized and given awards by area organizations but some of the work she is most proud of is her volunteer work with the disabled community. When she isn't sitting at the anchor desk, Telly loves to travel around the world, spend time with her family and dogs, play volleyball, drink coffee, experience new food and enjoy her guilty pleasure of reality television.

It's been a topic of conversation in newsrooms across America. Are we losing more viewers?
