    Phil Tippett is a legend in the filmmaking and visual effects business, making his mark on such films as the original Star Wars trilogy, RoboCop (ED-209 is a fan favorite), Dragonslayer and others, pioneering his “Go-Motion” method of perfecting stop-motion effects on The Empire Strikes Back.

    When CGI replaced his Go-Motion dinos in Jurassic Park, Tippett went onto developing ground-breaking CGI VFX with his Tippett Studio, including Starship Troopers, The Twilight Saga and more. He’s directed several films, including Starship Troopers 2.
